better side panel for thunar

i have my thunar to look very scaled down with the icon view in the side panel and that is the only means of navigation.....

i really like this however.... i would really like some kind of navigation along with it IE a a tree that is also in the sidebar along with the icon view....
or back, forward, and up buttons in the sidebar

i made what i thought could help explain this if you have any suggestions of thoughts please tell me
