kcontrol index is empty

Hi!

After doing some changes in my kmenu with kmenuedit (KDE 3.1.2) the index of my kontrolcenter (kcontrol) is empty, means that the modules are not listed. But if I start kcontrol as root (root not logged in to kde, I only start kcontrol as root while I'm logged in as user and then I can change the Settings for the User) they are all listed.

Any suggestions how I can get the modules back to my users kcontrol?

Nope! I cant change the settings of the user when starting kcontrol as root, it only shows the name of the user thats logged in to kde but it changes the settings for root. damned
