I get a weird error when I do emerge --sync. I tried to update portage and sync again; but I now have the same timestamp; so I'll know tomorrow if this has `automatically' resolved. Anyway; I still wanted you to see it so you can see it in case it is't sudden problem with portage

I just did emerge -vauDN yesterday. The day before yesterday portage worked perfectly. It looks as if the sync completes but has some weird problem somewhere afterwards.

Portage version:
[ebuild R ] sys-apps/portage-2.1.1-r2 USE="-build -doc (-selinux)" LINGUAS="-pl" 0 kB

emerge --sync:

Try this:

Code:
rm -rf /var/cache/edb/* && emerge --metadata
