Hi all,
I've just finished to configure all I need to netboot my "brand new" ultra5
but since it was the first time that I was tryng to netboot I did not knew what to expect.... I thought a minimal system, but this is too minimal.
Is it possible to have a more "evolved" system with netboot with at least a "system" on it without intalling it on the local HD?
Hope you will understand what I mean
tnx to all

It's possible to have a fully loaded system including X with netboot. But the netboot images provided by the gentoo devs are designed to install gentoo, not for your everyday use.
Therefore you probably have to build it your own(maybe someone else offers such images, dunno).
