Hi,
I would like to get several gcc profiles : one x86_64 and one x86 but I don't know how I have to proceed on gentoo ....
Do I have to install another gcc through portage, recompile it with some special USE flags or ... something else ?
I need it to cross-compile a program, in fact.
Thanks, |

I think you should install the version of gcc for the cross-compilation through portage, but mantain only the gcc profile right for your architecture.
When you'll have on your system two gcc compiler I think you'll be able to choose between them to perform cross compilation.
But maybe the distcc option with cross compilation suites your need... take a look at this page
