I've been using Audacious and am happy with it smoothly playing internet radio in the background. |

I like Amarok. It manages a large library of music well (so long as you have id3 tags properly set), and it talks to portable players well. |

Amarok is hands down the best linux media player. It's too bad it's so KDE dependent |
