Hi all,
i have been reading several posts in the forums, but i think this problem has never been posted yet.
Kernel is compiled with agpart support and XF86Config file is ok, nvidia module is loaded through modules.autoload and without glx and nvidia instead nv driver X works fine.
As soon as i try to load X with glx and "nvidia driver" the systen hangs and i have to reset it. In the XF86 log file could be read: "no nvidia core found" even it is loaded during boot.
Where could the problem be??
Should i tfry with older drivers?? I´m using the latest one and this are the only i downloaded since i use gentoo.
The command for remove the pkg from the portage would be " unmerge emerge nvidia-kernel nevidia-glx, wouldn´t it??
Thanx and greetz!!! |

thanks!
I´ve been looking at the nvidia docs and noticed there´s a bug with the latest nvidia.o module. Now I am working with 3132 and all is going fine.
