I moved to gcc-4.4.1 yesterday, and started having problems emerging some ebuilds. They all fail with this error:
Code: | grep: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libstdc++.la' is not a valid libtool archive

/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libstdc++.la really does not exist.
I've tried running revdep-rebuild (it fails for the same reason) and re-emerging libstdc++ - none helped.
I didn't find anything in the forums. Any suggestions are most welcome!

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads in favour of the threads zsoltika linked to. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |
