Hey,
I sync'd a couple of days ago and got this error listed below, thought it was just a bad sync so left it a couple of days to see if it occurs when I re-sync, when I did the error still persisted, so I rm -rf /usr/portage and downloaded a snapshot off one of the mirrors and extracted that, when I did emerge --metadata the error was the same. Looked on the boards and not found anything that matches it.

My bad... now found a thread concerning my issue :oops:
rm'd /var/cache/edb/dep now fixed
