I just deleted /var/db/pkg

Hi,I just accidentaly deleted /var/db/pkg
Is there any way I could repair the problem without reinstalling gentoo and/or every package?

Restore from backup?

unfortunatly I don't have a backup... and I can't restore the lost files

any other ideas?
