Hi,
on my Gentoo server I host a domain professionalastrologers.org among others, all registered at the same registrar Easyspace in UK, all also use same nameservers. However, this domain have no been "lost" for several days and when I make a whois on any whois server outside of Easyspace like whois.crsnic.net I got | Code: | No match for "PROFESSIONALASTROLOGERS.ORG".

but when I make a lookup at easyspace I got | Code: | Domain found
Record last updated on 2003-05-06. |
Domain servers are | Code: | MERC.ASTROCALC.NET 195.128.199.25
NS1.ASTROCALC.NET 212.3.10.145 |
I have emailed their support but so far only got an auto response. Anyone have a possible explaination for this?

Well I found out .org domains base is at www.pir.org and did a whois there, found the domain was set Inactive, appearently because the new nameserver I have added and resistered at my Registrar havn't made to pir.org's db somehow. Just strange...
