Que tal, tratè de usar el LiveCD de gentoo 2006.1 y cuando llega a la parte de :
Running hdparm on dev/hda
Me dice algo de
NMI Watchdog detected LOCKUP on CPU1
(tengo dos amd's turion )
Y me escribe una lluvia de letras termianndo en
Kernil panic -not syncing ::(ya no me qcuerdo que mas)
Alguien puede decirme que pasa, he buscado en los foros y no hay quien tenga el mismo problema. Ya verifique mi MD5.

Hey i tryed to use the gentoo 2006.1 liveCD and then:
Running hdpar on dev/hda
It says this:
NMI Watchdog detected LOCKUP on CPU1
(I have AMD turion 64 x2)
Then it all ends saying this:
Kernil panic -not syncing
Someone has an idea? Ive tryed looking in the forums, but i cant find anything helpful. Ah, i have veryfied my MD5

Try to boot with:

If it doesn't work, you may enter Interactive boot mode by pressing i during the init process and start every service except for "autoconfig".

Intenta iniciar el arranque con:

Si eso no lo arregla, entra en el modo interactivo durante el inicio (pulsando i cuando te lo diga) y activa todos los servicios excepto el de "autoconfig". |

Intente quemar tambien el liveDVD, pero se cuelga cuandolo esta cargando!!
Tambien la suma MD5 esta bien, y he leido en otros foros con personas que tienen problemas similares , que quemen el DVD a 1x, creen que esto pueda funcionar? Yo queme los mios a 6x y a 8x |

To moderators: Please, could you move this thread to Spanish forum?
Sobre problemas al grabar el LiveDVD con 1x no había leido nada al respecto, pero si tienes un dvd regrabable no cuesta mucho probar grabarlo a 1x para ver si eso soluciona el problema.
Aparte hay una lista de errores de GRUB que se puede consultar en el siguiente hilo:
Grub Error Collection [Part 7]
Y en el wikimedia de gentoo hay un listado de hardware en el que ver como configurar determinados modelos de pc's o tarjetas.

Es posible que la placa base tenga incompatibilidades, o la controladora de ide y por eso casca al intentar ejecutar el hdparm...
¿Probaste el ide=nodma? ¿Y el modo interactivo? |
