Bonjour,

Code:
USE="win32codecs asf" emerge -av Totem

Code:
[ebuild     U ] media-libs/xine-lib-1.1.3_pre20061129 [1.1.2-r2] USE="X a52 aac aalib alsa dvd flac gnome gtk%* ipv6* nls opengl samba sdl vorbis xv (-altivec) -arts -debug -directfb -dts -dxr3 -esd -fbcon -imagemagick -libcaca -mad% -mmap% -mng -modplug -oss -pulseaudio% -speex -theora -truetype% -v4l -vcd (-vidix) (-win32codecs) -xinerama -xvmc (-asf%) (-mp3%*)" VIDEO_CARDS="(-i810%) (-nvidia%*) (-via%)" 0 kB

posted by the release team

We wish to thank the Google Summer of Code project for sponsoring the FFmpeg project. Thanks to the SoC program for 2006, the FFmpeg project was able to get help from students to implement more native codecs.

The highlights of this release are native VC-1/WMV3, On2 VP5 and VP62 (used in some Flash video files) decoding, which works even on non-Intel platforms, and SSA/ASS/color subtitles.

Je confirme, ça marche super bien, je l'utilise depuis quelques mois. Adieu win32codecs :)

Quote:
xine-lib 1.1.2
xine-lib version 1.1.2 is our latest release. It includes updated FFmpeg and support for ATSC, and can use the RealPlayer 10 libraries - and there's even a plugin which adds noise...
There are also three security fixes: CVE-2005-4048 (possible buffer overflow in libavcodec; crafted PNGs), CVE-2006-2802: (possible buffer overflow in the HTTP plugin) and a fix for a possible buffer overflow via bad indexes in specially-crafted AVI files.
Please take a minute to read the release notes.
xine-lib 1.1.2 is available for download from our download page or directly from Sourceforge.
