I'm having issues with the kernel version in a genkernel initramfs. For some reason, it's insisting that it's version 2.6.17 and not 2.6.18, so it can't find the modules to load. I've nuked my kernel source and rebuilt using 'genkernel --evms2 all', with no affect. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Thanks,
--Andrew

Did you set up the symlink correctly? It could still be pointing towards your old kernel
