| Does anybody have a clue on how good the support is for these devices? and does anybody have a relatively inexpensive recommendation on which adapter is good? |

Hi
Well, I don't have the clue now, but I order a cable from m-audio:

I ask in another forum and someone told me that was a good option ( at least better than my idea which was to connect like this :
midi out keyboard<<-->>gameport<<-->>usb<<-->>laptop
This solution was cheaper but this guy told me that it could lead to latency issue...
So I order the m-audio interface, which was a bit more expensive, but the good point, he told me that I just had to plug it and will be recognized in qjackctl out of the box!
Hope it's true. I'll give you some feedback as soon as I test it. _________________ Unreleased Kollektiv

It might be a bit late... but I just receive the cable.
So yes, it works out of the box! I just plugged it and it appears in qjackctl...
