|
|
I just upgraded firefox to version 2.0 and the fontsize in the menus, navigation-bar and search-bar were
unproportional big. It took me quite a while to find a way to make the fonts have the same size as in firefox 1.5 again.
Thus I thought I share the solution here:
In your home-directory edit .mozilla/firefox/xxxxxx.default/chrome/userChrome.css (if the file does not exist use the example-file)
and put this line inside:
Code: | * { font-size: 8pt !important } |
Hope that's useful for someone. |

Thanks that is indeed interesting. I've always had issues trying to get fonts in gtk apps rendering just right on Linux. Especially since im old and cant see . |

Firefox uses the fontsize from the gtk config by default. I also had success setting this e.g. via gtk-chtheme. |

yeah sure but if you alter those sizes then often the rendering of fixed size fonts in web pages turns to crap. |
