|
|
Well, it seems as if XMMS is being masked (at least on AMD64).
I have been suing it for some time, to the point where ti is the only sound player I use.
What do you guys use instead? I heard good things about Rhythmbox, but it keeps crashing every time I try to load my mp3 library.
Any ideas of other good alternate players? Is BMP still active and well liked?
I was hoping to find something compatible with Audioscrobbler/last.fm (which XMMS has a plugin for)
Thanks,

My apologies for insufficient searching.
I did a few searches but I got so many hits and none seemed directly relevant, that I figured I'd post my own.
I love Gentoo, and as much as I hate to admit it, it was time for XMMS to go. It's coded pretty terribly.
I will try amarok. Hopefully it will work for me. Thanks _________________ ----

Moved from Multimedia to Duplicate Threads.
The threads that 6thpink posted already have suggestions for alternative music players _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |
