Apparently I underestimated how much space I'd need for my linux paritions and have run out, so I'm going to toast the partitions and allocate more space.
When I do this I want to save my kernel config so I don't have to go through it all again trying to remember what I added to get my video in working, for example. Is there an easy way to save the configuration optinos I have now to use them when I reinstall (i.e. on a floppy or NFS share)? Is it as simple as running make menuconfig and chosing to save the config at the end, and if so where does it but the file and what is it called?
Thanks in advance. |

Just copy /usr/src/linux/.config to a floppy and you should be set. |
