Hello,
Is there a way to have csh, so I can do C in the terminal, but still have BASH as my main shell? Such as having csh to startup and use when needed, and not even be seen otherwise?
Any help would be appreciated, and thanks ahead of time! |

Maybe I've misunderstood what you're asking, but you can always just start csh when you need it:

So, it won't take over as the 'dominant' shell? And I can start it, and use it when needed without worrying about it replacing or damaging bash?
I just wanted to ask before messing up my system. |

Just running it won't change any system settings. You can even set csh or tcsh as your default shell by running chsh:
Then tcsh will be started when you open a terminal, and you can run bash if you need it for something. This won't affect the shell used for system scripts and such, and bash will still be intact and available for use. _________________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |
