|
|
Hello,
I have run into some strange problems trying to write to an usb Benq CRW3210AI cd-writer (formarly Acer). CD's can be written using CDRDOA, but fail using CDRECORD. I figured out this is caused by the different libscg version they use.
cdrdao scanbus:
... Using libscg version 'andreas-0.5-UNIXWARE_Patch' ...
... 1,0,0: UNKNOW, CD-R/RW 24x10, S.DM
cdrecord -scanbus:
... Using libscg version 'schily-0.7' ...
...
(hangs the system or waits forever trying to scan the scsibus1;ie where the USB-writer is connected too).
Is there a possibility to change or patch the version cdrecord is using?
Kind regards,
