I would like to say first off, thanks for all the help that these forums have given me in the past and thanks in advance for your help here as well.
Now, I've searched as best as I can and I can't seem to find any info on this particular build problem...
I'm pretty sure that I don't need the driver as I have an ATI 9600 Pro in the box, so I've no idea why this is showing up in my e-world, but it fails to build... heres the output:
Code: | i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -DXFree86Server -DIN_MODULE -DXFree86Module -DXFree86LOADER -I/usr/include/xorg -I/usr/include/drm -I/usr/include/drm -I/usr/include/X11/dri -O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -MT via_bandwidth.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/via_bandwidth.Tpo -c via_bandwidth.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/via_bandwidth.o

!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant. |
So, if I don't need this package, how would I remove it (and a few others that are showing up like this as well) from e-world? And if I do end up needing it, would anyone have an idea as to how to fix the build error?

set the VIDEO_CARDS variable in /etc/make.conf to a value that matches your hardware.
That's fglrx for your ati iirc, or radeon if you want to use the open source driver. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
