no ebuilds for nvidia in the new xorg

When I was trying to emerge world, I was getting too many blocks from the old module of XORG. So I moved to the new modular of xorg-x11 according to the process described in this forum...removed the old xorg and merged new xorg and did an etc-update...after all that when I ran

#emerge -uaDv world

I got

#emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "media-video/nvidia-glx".
(dependency required by "x11-libs/gtkglarea-1.99.0" [ebuild])

What am I missing here. I did everything I think that was advised here...
Does anyone know the solution to this????
