I tried to emerge perl once more but this didn't solve the problem.
I'm working with on 700 MHz Duron machine.
CFLAGS="-mcpu=athlon -O2 -pipe"
I hope sombody can help me to solve the problem. _________________ no pain, no gain |

Solved the problem myself. I read somewhere that the -O2 option only has 2 functions less than the -O3 option. So it is almost as agressive as the -O3 option. I compiled irssi with -O and it succeeded. _________________ no pain, no gain |
