Gimp 2.2 is leaking memory when working with "path" tool keyboard shortcut "B"
I'm trying to edit detailed object so I'm working with "path" surround the details I don't need:
Shift - V
Ctrl - I
Ctrl - X
This way I can reduced the picture and get rid of the background.

My box has 1Gb of main memory and 3Gb of swap.
The memory keeps going down along with all the swap, when swap is down to "0" and I can no longer save the work and the gimp keep crashing along with unsaved work. Sometimes it takes an hour or two to finish one picture.

Is there a way to save it half way through with all the path-trace ?

Going to "Dialog" and "Paths" it is possible to Export the the path and later restore so it is a work-around
But it still does not solve the memory leak problem - very serious one.

Try the latest 2.3 version of gimp, and see if the problem still exists?

I just tried gimp-2.3.15
same think eating memory like crazy :->
In addition keyword 'gimpprint' is not working and you can not open two instances of gimp.
so I had to use kolorpaint Paint Program to save the work.
Went back to gimp 2.2 ;-/
