hi i am running a intel i810 vid. card and my resolution wont set at 1024x768 please help. |

hi i am trying to help someone running a intel i810 vid. card to set his resolution at 1024x768 but he didn't post his /etc/X11/xorg.conf _________________ "Mr Thomas Edison has been up on the two previous nights discovering 'a bug' in his phonograph." --Pall Mall Gazette (1889)

thanx.. but im also having another problem... everytime i go to edit my /etc/X11/xorg.conf it comes up with this thing.. and then i have to like recover it.. how do i make it so that i dont have to recover it? p.s. it also says something about a xorg.conf.swp already exists. |
