Hi,
Is it somehow possible to use a mobile phone with bluetooth / ir as input device??
Found bemused which works quite well; but this seems to be pretty out of date. Is there any equivalent newer program?
Best regards. |

Yep.
Try the HIDP (Human Interface Device Protocol) thing in your kernel. If your phone support the HID profile you may get it to work. _________________ Antek Grzymala |

Ok But how to get the mobile in this mode? Some special software (phone-dependent?) has to be used? |

I think it has to be built into the phone. My old Sony Ericsson K700i had this feature. Perhaps you can run some add-on java software for phones that don't have this bluetooth profile built in, but you'd have to search for this software on your own, as I didn't come across any. _________________ Antek Grzymala |

I am pretty sure, that i only had to enable hid protocol in bluez like antek said and then i could use the remote control feature of my phone (sony ericsson k750i). This can be found in the entertainment section.
I can move the mouse, left and right click and other things with the standard features of my phone.
