Enlightenment

I was looking at some screenshots and Enlightenment seems like a pretty cool desktop.

I have some questions though:

1) How does E16 compare to E17? Is there a major difference between the two versions of E?

2) Would it be worth using E16 if there's a major difference between E16 and E17?

3) If it's not worth using E16, should I wait for E17 to be released or should I try the CVS version of E17?

4) If I go with the CVS of E17, how will I know when there's a major bug in which I should update? I know if you update constantly to each new CVS you're going to end up breaking E17, so I don't think that's a quality option.
