Fargo Persona C25 card printer

I have a C25 card printer that I want to be able to print to from Gentoo Linux. Are there drivers for it so I can print through CUPS?

Right now, it is connected to a Windows machine, which is sharing it using SMB. I tried using smbclient to connect. I can upload a job to the printer that way, but it only appears in the printer's queue. It doesn't actually print. What format does samba expect for print jobs? Postscript? Also, if I try using other samba tools, I get strange ticket error messages. What is a ticket and what does it have to do with printing through samba?

How can I print a card, either through samba or directly with the parallel port?
