I'd like to remove all gentoo-sources because I have very little free memory (don't ask why ). I won't have to recompile kernel, so could I do
Code: | # emerge -C gentoo-sources |
to erase /usr/src and get 250 Mb?
By the way how can I change the topic headline to add '[SOLVED]'?

Its safe to remove, but you will need them when you build modules or other kernel-specific stuff.
You can also clean your distfiles directory.
To add [solved], you edit your first post and change the topic. |
