vpopmail: how to get rid of plain text passwords logging?

Hi,

I've installed qmail+vpopmail with mysql support by following instructions from howto on gentoo.org. Everything works fine but I've noticed that vpopmail writes log with athenticated users sending mail in mysql log table and writes there also user's plain text password. So when anybody sends an email through my smtp server I'll have his password in logs.

It's my first time configuring vpopmail, so can anybody tell me how may I turn off this way of passwords logging?
