ever tried to emerge kdestudio and kdevelop??
i did today and kdestudio shows a crash error (ever happened to you? why?) and i cant emerge kdevelop at 100%. somebody has these programs on their gentoo system? how did you do that? i appreciate your help _________________ GOD rules |

I don't have kdestudio but I emerged kdevelop recently and it worked perfectly. What's the matter with it? |

kdestudio seems to be KDE2 based while kdevelop is KDE3 based, so it sounds better to avoid kdestudio |

i see. but i guess that kdevelop is much better than studio right? if they arent the same i guess that studio would be compatible for kde3. last time i tried to emerge kdevelop and the emerge showed me an error. ill try again. thx!!!! god bless _________________ GOD rules |

Try the latest alpha, it's fairly stable and usable for me. KDEStudio looks like it's dead. IIRC there hasn't been a new version since 2000. |
