There is something strange with sylpheed ebuild. Look at this :

I have the 0.8.9 on my computer and I do not want to downgrade to 0.8.5-r1. Is it a bug ?

| The cvs log message says "old files", so there is no real reason for this. Either the developer has forgotten to unmask a newer version or he has deleted the files to early. It's not a bug in portage but missing files in cvs. |

You're right. The 0.8.11 release is in the portage tree, but the 0.8.9 release has disappeared.

And, 0.8.11 ebuild seems to have no problem except not appear :

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

How can we warn the developer of that ?
