Post Count means nothing

I see posts every once in a while where people say they are sick of gentoo or whatever, and then of course replies come back, such as "OMG You are sick of gentoo yet you only have 4 posts in 5 years, that says it all right there, you havnt even given gentoo a try" or whatever...

I just have to say that this is stupid childish BS. Post count means nothing. You know what it usually means? The person is an intelligent individual who KNOWS how to search! And not necessarily just here, but google too! Just because you cant find an answer on lets say, wpa supplicant on gentoo forums doesn't mean you cant find the answer on the rest of the web.

I have been running gentoo far before my join date on the forums and i have it running on ~6 computers at home at any given time and have installed it on many other comps for clients/friends/family/self.

Look at my post count, omg i must be a newb who hasn't even given gentoo a real try. Well, thats totally the opposite.

I think a lot of people need to realize there is a wealth of info and you can find the answer to 99.9% of problems here and elsewhere. Gentoo is not a totally foreign linux distro. It uses a slightly different init setup, etc, and places a few files in a couple different places, but for the most part its Linux!

Search dammit, and don't judge someone by there post count.

Hmm a high post count means a user has made a lot of posts - nothing more.
It says nothing about their Gentoo history or abilities to help you solve your problem.
