Ok, I found an interesting feature to feh: a screensaver mode. Problem is, it doesn't seem to have a way to tell if its needed or not.
Ok, I run feh -T screensave path, and it starts a slideshow. Is there anyway to have it execute after X time (like a real screensaver?), or am I stuck with xscreensaver? _________________ The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner. |

I do not think you can. I am not a specialist at all, but I think such functions are made to be called from xscreensaver or another screensaver manager (you can precise somewhere which command to run as a screensaver I think)...
Just my 2c. |

You might be able to find a way to tie it into xset, I know it has some screensaver controls, not sure what you can control with it htough _________________ Join the adopt an unanswered post initiative today |

Well, I was thinking there might be a way to setup a short script to detect input from the keyboard and/or mouse.
I'll look at xset, though. _________________ The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner. |
