In order to emerge pdftk, I needed to set the gcj USE flag for gcc. I did that, then I recompiled gcc, and then I was able to emerge pdftk. So far, so good.

But now, when I run revdep-rebuild, I get this:
Code:
  broken /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgij.la (requires /usr/lib/../lib64/libgcj.la)
  broken /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgij.la (requires /usr/lib/../lib64/libgcj.la)

revdep-rebuild wanted to recompile gcc, so I let it, but the problem remains. I searched for a libgcj.la, but I don't have one anywhere. I'm sure that removing the gcj USE flag would remove the dependency, but then I'll need to recompile gcc anytime I want to update pdftk!

Any ideas how I can get libgcj.la or resolve the supposed dependency?

Thanks.

This has been discussed in topic: "Persistent revdep-rebuild issues: gcc and libgcj.la".
