Hi all,
I have a little problem compiling wine on my newly setup gentoo-system. I have 2 other boxes with gentoo and wine compiles without problem there. The compile stops with this message:

I think there should be no problems with this settings. I also tried to set MAKEOPTS="-j1" , but this didn't help.
So if anyone knows this problem or has a tip what to try I'll be happy to hear about it.
TIA

I think I had this problem also when trying to install wine. I'm not positive, but I think that I had to emerge corefonts before emerging wine. _________________ Windows = a 32-bit extension to a 16-bit graphical shell for an 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit microprocessor by a 2-bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition. |

Thanks for your answer, just checked it, corefonts is pulled in by portage as a dependency of wine. But I think I found the the problem: My first attempts were from a livecd in a chroot. Now I tried again from the system itself, and guess what, wine compiles without problem. So it seems like wine has a problem beeing compiled in chroot. _________________ Desktop: AMD Athlon64 4850e@2,9GHz| 2GB RAM | 500GB HDD
