and many times i have to restart proftpd cause i can't login
when i can't login i get

the user has the home dir different, set to /var/www/localhost/htdocs/blabla .. and did chown -R user dir .. also gpasswd -a user ftp
why would i get 'operation not permited' ?
maybe i need to chown with group ftp there too ? |
