| Just wondering if anybody knows if there's a way I can apply effects to the surround speakers like echo or reverb while playing music with my audigy 2 card? I'm trying to achieve the same effect as cmms2 in windows where you can use the different sound effects while playing music. Thanks. |

Maybe jack-audio-connection kits is what you are looking for. You can apply sound effect the different program, or use alsa's jack plugin to map default sound to jackd. However, I don't see any 3d surround sound effect written for any sound system. If you found one, please notify me
