SCSI : "unexpected busfree while idle"

The problem:
The boot process stops at the scsi section with repeating the error "unexpected busfree while idle".

If I took off one of the 2 hds and one of the 2 cdroms (now only one device per cable), there is no error.

The system was running serval months with the same configuration but after a hardreboot (system crash couz the mldonkey process failed) I found this error : /

Fact is that I can boot the whole system (all devices) with the knoppix boot cd and I have access to all, so I think its not a hardware termination problem (I checked that several times ... ).
Also recompile the kernel, couz I thought there is maybe an error in the scsi modul ...

It is an Adaptec U160 29160 Controller with the aic7xxxx driver...

Can anybode give me a hint?
