Cant delete Emails in Evolution

When i delelte and apply filter.. nothing happens.
When i try to "move to folder" trash there comes a message:

"Folder /home/user/Evolution/local/Trash/mbox" does not exist.

The folder exists but not the mbox file or folder - when i mkdir mbox then comes this message:

"Folder /home/user/Evolution/local/Trash/mbox" is not a regular file
Can someone help me?

try using touch mbox in that directory to create an empty file (after you delete the mbox directory, of course).
