Hi everyone,

I'm haveing the following problem:
For the last few weeks now, my portage system has been inoperational. As far as i can see, this is due to some php-packages that have been renamed and other packages still pointing to the old names. When i try to do an update, i get things like this:

Code:
emerge -auvD world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating world dependencies \
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-php/mod_php".
(dependency required by "dev-lang/swig-1.3.25" [ebuild])

!!! Problem resolving dependencies for gnome-extra/gconf-editor
!!! Depgraph creation failed.

What is wrong and what can i do to make it stop ?

Hello,

Take a look at the Upgrading PHP guide and see if it answers your questions.
