How can you recover root password if you have forgotten it? Any help will be appreciated

You can't but you can boot with the LiveCD and set the password field in /etc/shadow to <null>, e.g.

root:$1$r8RnxgJB$IHJGbZuwoVavc9eQj2cCp.:13137:0:99999:7:::
to
Code:
root::13137:0:99999:7:::
root then doesn't have a password and you can boot normally and set a new one.
