|
|
Anyone know how to run more than one copy of a program at session startup? I have multiple entries of "gnome-terminal" with varying command-line arguments under "[Foot] -> Desktop -> Preferences -> Sessions -> Startup Programs", but only one terminal actually gets executed when I log into GNOME.
This used to be possible in GNOME 2.12, but for some reason, my session startup programs got lost in the transition to 2.14.
Thanks! |

Could it be related to this http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345115
Try editing the /usr/share/gnome/autostart file and removing the --disable-sm option from the gnome-volume-manager line.

I tried your suggestion, and as I suspected, it didn't work. I doubt this has anything to do with session management. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
Any other ideas? |

I have a similar problem. I haven't manually added anything to Startup Programs but I run two instances of gkrellm and save my session on logout. When I log back in again only one of them is started again, and which one it is seems random from login to login. |
