Hi -
My sound card isn't working, and it's a SB Live! so I need emu10k1.
Code: |
# emerge -p emu10k1
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] sys-libs/gpm-1.20.0-r5
[ebuild N ] media-sound/aumix-2.7-r4
[ebuild N ] media-sound/emu10k1-0.20a-r5
|
So when I emerged it and gpm downloads and compiles perfectly fine, but aumix gives me an error (these are just the last few lines - if more would help just say so):
Code: |
checking for unistd.h... (cached) yes
checking machine/console.h usability... no
checking machine/console.h presence... no
checking for machine/console.h... no
./configure: line 3839: syntax error near unexpected token `('
./configure: line 3839: ` --without-PACKAGE do not use PACKAGE (same as --with-PACKAGE=no)'
make: *** [config.status] Error 2
!!! ERROR: media-sound/aumix-2.7-r4 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 28, Exitcode 2
!!! make failed

Thanks for all your help! |

Try the masked version (2.. Seems to work pretty flawlessly.
Code: | ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -p aumix |
