Bonjour,
j'ai installer vmplayer en suivant ce howto et comme prévu l'affichage est en 800x600 16 couleurs. Et je souhaiterais passer dans un mode plus agréable comme indiqué dans le titre. Cette documentation indique l'astuce mais je ne comprends rien. Je cite :

On this link (provided by GetCool) you can find a guide to install the proper display driver using the windows.iso from the VMWare Workstation package. In the guide they say you have to mount it as loopback device and then share it with Samba, but there is a better way to do this. You can create an extra virtual harddisk in your vmx and mount the iso there:

ide1:0.startConnected = "TRUE"
Check if you haven't used ide1:0 yet, otherwise you should change it to another ide device.
The VMWare Tools also contain a nifty tool which enables automaticilly mouse (and keyboard) hooking on hover.

| C'est simple en fait: tu dois juste récupérer le windows.iso sur le site de VMWare comme c'est indiqué dans le lien de GetCool, et rendre ce qu'il y a dans ce .iso accessible à ta machine virtuelle. La méthode qu'il te conseille pour ça (c'est pas la seule) c'est de créer un nouveau device virtuel, pour ce faire tu rajoutes juste les lignes qu'il donne dans ton .vmx (et ensuite depuis ta machine virtuelle lances l'installeur de VMWare-Tools) |

mais je vais faire mon chiant car là je suis vraiment largué, pour ce qui est de mettre les infos dans le .vmx c'est ok, par contre le .iso y doit être où : dans le même répertoire que mon .vmx? 
EDIT : ou bien je dois lancer ces 2 commandes :

# mount -o loop vmware-distrib/lib/isoimages/windows.iso /tmp/vmware_tools

Oui, ou bien tu mets le chemin complet vers le .iso

Ok, merci je teste, en attendant merci et désolé pour la lourdeur. Il me faut des vacances...
C'est bon, est en plus c'est plus rapide maintenant que l'affichage n'est plus en 256 couleurs!!!! whaou!!!!

EDIt : Une fois la manipulation faite, ouvrer l'explorer, aller dans le disque virtuel intitulé : Vmware tools, et lancer l'exécutable et là toute la machine va être accélérée en plus d'être belle (enfin belle c'est du win tout de même, je me modère)
