today we've got something special, never seen in vietnam before.
today we will call the enemy udev instead of charlie, he is far more effective, sneaking and brutal.
So without further introduction:
udev-087-r1:
sound is working without /etc/init.d/alsasound restart after each boot. xvideo is not working (no movies in fullscreen
udev-094:
xvideo is working (can't live without), sound needs /etc/init.d/alsasound restart after each boot.
so charlie is very effective, can't live with the old one...can't with the new
any ideas whats charlie doing and why?
Its, 16:40 or so and im beeing arrested again for controversal news

WORKAROUND:
ive probably made a mistake, but if there are other people with the same prob heres a workaround:
remove xdm from any boot level
add this line:
/etc/init.d/alsasound restart && /etc/init.d/xdm start
to:
/etc/conf.d/local.start:
alsasound is on my system in the default runlevel...
this will restart alsa after bootup and then start the login manager, works for me.
