Hello there
I emerged and compiled the latest mm-sources but I'm having booting problem. At boot time the following messages are ouputted but then nothing happens and the system hangs:

Since I'm not used to patch, I'm gonna ask u stupid question  :
I cut/paste from/to:
diff -puN include/linux/spinlock.h~lockmeter-fixes include/linux/spinlock.h
.
.
.
} while (0)
I saved in /usr/src/linux/p1.patch
Then I ran :
patch -p0 p1.patch
Then nothing happens, program doesn't finish !!?
What stupid thing I did??

patch -i -p1 p1.patch

It's me again
I applied the patch, it booted perfectly. I had gdm as display manager. I commented the DISPLAYMANAGER variable in /etc/rc.conf, run rc-update del xdm, and now it boots but hangs after :
* Activating (possibly) more swap... [ OK ]
Does it talk to someone?

The strange thing is that it boots when I put back gdm 
I think it has something with framebuffer. I enabled it at kernel compilation for trident. I don't know how to set mode ?!
