Hi!
EDIT: Oops - should have searched more throughly. https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-475007.html contains the solution.
fixed it
I wanted to change from monolithic kde to split ebuilds. After unmerging all of kde, I entered
Code: | emerge -a kdebase-startkde |
for a minimalistic kde (I'm a little short on hd space).
sadly, it didn't even try to comple it, i'm stuck at this error message:

Emerging the monolithic ebuild seems to work (at least it gets beyond unpacking, then i canceled because that's not what I wanted.)
