SpeedStream SS1021 detected, but not setup

Well, I've done just about every single method of getting wireless networking working on my Dell Inspiron 2600 with the SpeedStream SS1021.

One method I found here sort of works, as in it detects the card when pcmcia services are started, but it doesn't initialize another network device when I load orinoco_cs (iwconfig shows only lo0 and eth0...no wireless extensions). This is both with USE="+wavelan" and without it.

I have my PCIC set to i82365, PCMCIA/CardBus disabled, ISA enabled, PCI hot plugging enabled, Wireless LAN enabled but no options selected, and pcmcia-cs v3.2.1-r4.

Any ideas?
