My installer(LiveCd)freezes at 0%,why?known problems? Thanks!

I have a 2200 processor shouldn't gentoo install at least 1% during 10 minutes of waiting?

1) use "edit" button 2) I guess - you are using GUI installer from 2006 - this application not always works. Try www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-x86-install.xml

Did you configure the network? If I recall correctly, you should not leave the configure network check box empty.
